Two people are said to have been killed at a restaurant in Paris after an apparent gunman went on a rampage.
Seven more diners are believed to be wounded after Kalashnikov-wielding gunman stormed Le Petit Cambodge restaurant close to Rue Bichat in the 10th arrondissement.
Shouting and screaming could reportedly be heard as shots rang out inside the Cambodian restaurant as some reported being 'shut inside'.
An eye witness reported seeing bodies strewn across the road near the restaurant.
It is being reported that the military made attempts to evacuate people inside the restaurant but the situation has advanced and they have instead been pushed to the back of the restaurant.
As anti-terrorist police flooded the area, an officer on the scene warned "the gunman is suspected to be still on the loose. People should leave the area.'
Several minutes later more shots were fired at live music Bataclan near Place de la Republique which is a short walk away.
Police and other emergency services are at the scene, which is close to where the Charlie Hebdo attack happened in January.
The attack on the satirical magazine left 13 people dead, as two Paris-born terrorists slaughtered cartoonists and other members of staff before escaping in a stolen.
At least 60 people are now believed to be dead following multiple explosions at other locations in the French capital.
Around 100 people are also said to be held hostage inside live music venue Bataclan.
